Through specialising in Churches, Historic and Listed Buildings we have built up a reputation and client satisfaction that speaks for itself.
This also means we use very highly skilled craftsmen and quality materials, so we can effectively and accurately accommodate all aspects of work on these important buildings from, lead roofs, stained glass repairs, carpentry, re-orderings and in a way that is also sympathetic to the needs of the ancient building.
At Ravenfield Church we are privileged to be working on Lead replacement. This beautiful church has been hit by lead thieves on numerous occasions, and now we have the solution to the problem. We have used lead coloured GRP which is a proven material that has far reaching applications in the marine industry and has been used on roofs for years. It carries a 30 year guarantee, aesthetically it looks like lead and yet has no value to thieves. We have worked hard to find a solution to meet the high demands of such a stunning building, and have managed to achieve a product that is aesthetically pleasing and meets all the requirements of the church.
Our most recent projects have been with Trinity Methodist Church at Woodhouse which has involved a major refurbishment a new heating system, new kitchen and new worship room.
We have also carried our extensive restoration work to pre conquest (950-1100AD) St. Helens Burghwallis Church, including replacing the woodblock flooring, restoring the pews, moving the Altar, making a new door with bespoke ironmongery and repointing, painting, rewiring and installing a new heating system.
